7/22/2009 - Palmer Smith appointed to the Electronic Recording Commission of the State of Alabama
Attorney Palmer Smith has been appointed by the Alabama State Bar to one of the two attorney positions on the Electronic Recording Commission of the State of Alabama. The 13 member Commission was established by the Alabama Legislature to develop standards for the electronic recording of real estate records pursuant to the Alabama Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording Act, which was enacted during the Legislature's 2009 regular session.
