Jackson Britton is named shareholder

Capell & Howard, P.C. is pleased to announce that W. Jackson Britton has been named a shareholder of the firm.
Originally from Montgomery, Jackson graduated from the University of Alabama in 2016 and received his juris doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Jackson was a senior editor for the Alabama Law Review and served as Senator in the Student Bar Association. He also served on the Honor Council as Student Ombudsman.
Jackson’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation as well as other areas of law, including Administrative Law, Appeals, Civil Rights & Constitutional Claims, Construction & Procurement, Correctional Facilities, Government, Insurance Defense, and Litigation. In 2024 and 2025, Jackson was recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America® in the areas of Administrative/Regulatory Law, Insurance Law, Civil Rights Law, and Appellate Practice.

Jackson is an active volunteer with the Montgomery YMCA Boys’ Work Committee and the Metro Y Annual Campaign. He is a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Montgomery.
