Applicants should possess a superior academic record, well-developed communication skills, and high ethical standards. Applicants in the top 20% of their class are preferred. Membership on a law review or other editorial board, and participation in moot court or trial competition also is preferred. Because we strive to ensure a diversity of experience that will best meet the complex needs of our clients, an applicant’s employment history and overall accomplishments will be given due consideration.
Law students are encouraged to apply for our Summer Associate Program during on-campus interviews. The Summer Associate Program is designed to evaluate participants by providing a “real life” snapshot of law practice. The majority of our new hires are taken from the Summer Associate Program, with the expectation that their entire careers will be spent with the firm.
